Shandy(shandy)A shandy is a cocktail made from a mixture of beer (often ale ) and lemonade to taste (normally half-and-half). A variant on this is the lager top in which a small measure of lemonade is added to a pint or half-pint of lager . In some areas, tomato juice is mixedwith beer as a cocktail. In Bavaria a mix of helles Bier ( lager )and lemonade is called a Radler (a Radler is also a person that rides a bicycle ), as opposed to a mix of Weißbier ( wheat beer ) and lemonade, which is called a Russ.
